The VDE range of tools from STAHLWILLE

The VDE tool range made by STAHLWILLE, allows safe working on systems and equipment even where there are "live" components up to 1000 volts – as accurately and efficiently as professional end users have come to expect of this brand. The VDE series, which has been compiled with daily practice in mind, offers a broad range consisting of more than 130 tried-and-tested products whose ergonomic design, close tolerances and long service lifetimes are renowned.

The torque wrenches, fine-tooth ratchets, open-ended spanners, screwdrivers, pliers and cutters are offered either individually or in application-specific compilations that have been designed for convenient storage and mobility. Besides stackable tool cases, there are roll-up wallets and a 48-piece VDE tool set in a case, specially designed for electro-mobility applications. Tried-and-tested, accurate and VDE-tested

A highlight of STAHLWILLE's VDE range is the MANOSKOP 730 VDE torque wrench. It is the only model on the market that allows users to replace the ratchet themselves without having to re-test the insulation. The same applies to readjustment, which is possible on this torque wrench without disassembly. This saves time and money. And a further benefit is that the measuring element is only under load while force is being applied, so there is no need for a manual reset to zero. Professional-grade equipment benefits from the QuickRelease lock for reliable attachment and locking of insert tools.

The fine tooth ratchets that are so highly appreciated by users are offered by STAHLWILLE as a VDE-tested version with a 3/8" drive. Thanks to their 80 teeth, they make a ratchet angle of only 4.5° possible, which means they can be used even in very confined spaces. The special locking mechanism makes these ratchets particularly safe: the attached tool is released only when the QuickRelease button is pressed.

Up to 1000 V dielectric breakdown protection

All VDE tools from Stahlwille are safe against dielectric breakdown up to 1000 volts. With its bright red signal colour, the insulating protective layer visually underlines the fact that these tools are for special operating conditions.

Supplying VDE tool sets in TCS inlays makes it a simple matter to see at a glance whether all the tools and accessories are where they should be. The sculpted, tool-specific safety inlays show instantly whether anything is missing, which saves time and makes for improved safety – not only where tool completeness is a necessity.
